Take-Away Gifts

A simple way to send some love home with your guests.
Birdseed Ornaments can be hung in a tree, from a window, lamp post, or bird house. A spin off of the traditional bird feeder, these ornaments provide a unique opportunity to relax and watch the birds with your kiddos or a cup of coffee.

These take-away gifts were so simple to make! I loved the way that they matched the woodland theme while providing a future opportunity for guests to take a breather with their families. I found this idea and tutorial on Pinterest. She has some super cute ideas for a lumberjack baby shower!

*click to view the tutorial. The only change I made was using 2 envelopes per batch rather than 1. This helped the forms keep their shape with minimal crumbles!

Unflavored Gelatine

I had never heard of unflavored gelatine before this tutorial and I had no idea where to find it! I looked at 2 stores (in the jello section) before finding it at Walmart; a package of 4 envelopes for $1.34! Here's a picture for your reference, hopefully this saves you multiple trips and several google searches!

Finishing Touch

Three words: Target Dollar Spot. This section has quickly become my favorite section in Target. Though it is a seasonal section, it consistently has super cute items for my classroom, crafting, or gifts! I found these bags to put the birdseed ornaments in, 10 bags for $1 - perfect. Always check the dollar section! I also found these cute gift tags (FREE) on Pinterest, which added a great finishing touch to the take-away gifts.

I love that you provided a way for us to avoid the dreaded "pinterest fail" with the tip on using two packets.
